What are toxins?

Toxins are harmful agents found in the environment, via food, water, and air. These carcinogens are front and center in our everyday lives. Your immune system protects against many of these infectious agents which is why it is so important to live a healthy lifestyle. The healthier you are when you come in contact with these poisonous chemicals the more likely you’ll be able to fight off any free radicals. But if you are living an unhealthy lifestyle, those toxins can then breach your immune system’s defenses.

When we either inhale or ingest toxins, they cause a negative stress response. When our bodies are in a sympathetic or fight or flight mode, our self-repairing mechanisms in our body gets turned off. Our bodies were efficiently created to heal and repair itself but only when the body is in para sympathetic or relaxation mode.

As well as stress, toxins are increased with nutritional deficiencies and can also enter your body in other ways that may not seem so traditional, like through your skin, eyes, ears, and nose.

The skin is the largest organ on the body and when you apply anything to your skin, it gets absorbed into the body. Such as lotions, sunscreen, cosmetics, deodorants, shampoo, and moisturizers. These products contain heavy metal materials like aluminum and when applied under the arms and on the lymph nodes, look out bloodstream, here come the toxins.

Any aroma you smell means something is going into your body. Toxins enter through the nose by way of air fresheners, fumes emitted from car pollution, air conditioning, factory pollution, plug ins, mold, dust, pollen, etc.

The way that toxins come in through the eyes is through images that cause bad emotions. When we watch violent images on television or read the newspaper, play video games and read books with negative images, we allow in the toxins.

Sounds are let in through the ears by vibrations and frequencies and some sounds you hear may have a negative effect on your physiology, especially from unnatural man made frequencies, like honking horns, air conditioners, alarm clocks, blenders, your car engine, washing machines, etc.
